Robert Jones Villa
An elegant place with refined design, freely inspired by nature — this space blends contemporary flair with retro spirit. It’s a skillful arrangement created hand-in-hand by Belgian decorator Caroline Wittock & Labscape studio.
The project involves the transformation of a 1950s apartment building into a single-family home. The success of the project lies not only in its quality but also in the inspiring collaboration between the owner and the designers.

THE VILLA IS MORE THAN A RENOVATION — IT’S A POETIC REINTERPRETATION OF DOMESTIC SPACE. THE USE OF CERAMICS ISN’T JUST DECORATIVE; IT’S NARRATIVE, CONNECTING THE INTERIOR TO THE GARDEN VISIBLE THROUGH THE WINDOWS.
A custom-designed powder room in orange tones, conceived as a ceramic jewel box. It’s entirely cladded in orange glazed ceramic, creating a warm, enveloping atmosphere that contrasts with the cooler tones used elsewhere in the house. The orange palette ranges from soft terracotta to vibrant tangerine, forming a monochromatic gradient that adds depth and richness to the space.
The kitchen is the centerpiece of the home, designed as a monumental ceramic installation. Entirely clad in green glazed ceramic tiles, the kitchen surfaces shimmer with light, creating an aquatic effect that changes throughout the day. The cabinetry, refrigerator, and storage units are integrated into a single ceramic block, giving the space a sculptural, monolithic presence.
THE CERAMIC FINISH IS NOT JUST DECORATIVE—IT’S TACTILE AND IMMERSIVE, INVITING TOUCH AND INTERACTION. THE INTERPLAY OF LIGHT AND SHADOW ON THE CERAMIC SURFACES EVOKES THE FEELING OF BEING UNDERWATER OR SURROUNDED BY FOLIAGE.
THE DINING ROOM IS A TRANSITIONAL SPACE THAT BRIDGES THE VIBRANT KITCHEN AND THE MORE SERENE LIVING AREAS. IT FEATURES A HARMONIOUS BLEND OF GREEN AND BROWN TONES, CONTINUING THE FOREST-INSPIRED PALETTE SEEN THROUGHOUT THE HOUSE. THE DINING TABLE AND CHAIRS ARE CRAFTED FROM RICH WOOD, COMPLEMENTING THE GREEN GLAZED CERAMICS AND REINFORCING THE NATURAL THEME.
The staircase, originally stark white, was transformed with multicolored carpeting — a to inject vibrancy and warmth.
Each room has its own personality, alternating between bright, open spaces and cozy, intimate corners.
The Bedroom: the design balances natural light with cozy materials, possibly using textiles, warm woods, and subtle color contrasts to create a serene environment.
