DMN

Labscape designed 3 boutiques for MDN, formerly known as Mer du Nord, in Paris, Brussels and Bruges.

The basis for the concept was the color palette, composed of white, gold, ocean blue and sea green. The vertical brass bars alternate with decorative branding elements to give a certain rhythm to the space, such as the blue shelves with a brass geometrical pattern.

“ BY EXTENDING THE BRAND EXPERIENCE INTO THE BOUTIQUE INTERIOR THE CUSTOMER BETTER UNDERSTANDS THE PRODUCT ON DISPLAY, AND DEVELOPS A GREATER EMOTIONAL BOND BETWEEN BRAND WORLD AND GARMENTS”.

“from our creative dialogue with the brand, we were able we were able to distill a recognizable interior grammar of surfaces, treatments and colors that unite the different areas of the premises, yet provide each area with a different rhythm and tone”
