Carine Gilson’s story harks back to the 1990s.
A freshly-minted graduate of Antwerp’s prestigious Royal Academy of Fine Arts, where she studied fashion, Carine Gilson discovered Maille France, a small Brussels atelier that manufactured fine ladies’ underslips. She immediately fell in love with the world of lingerie. The rest is history.

TO MATCH THAT EXCELLENCE, A POETIC YET MINIMALISTIC DESIGN WAS IMPLEMENTED ON THE FINEST MATERIALS, PAPERS AND PRINT TECHNIQUES. THE “BIRDS OF PARADISE GARDEN” WAS USED AS A PATTERN THROUGHOUT ALL THE COMMUNICATION AND MERCHANDISING ITEMS.
THE BLACK, WHITE AND GOLD COLOURS REFER TO DISCRETION, PURITY AND JAPANESE CRAFTSMANSHIP, MADE WITH PATIENCE.
OTHER MOTIFS WERE CREATED ALONG THE SEASONS TO BE PRINTED OF SILK. FOR THE COLLECTIONS.
